The Lorax’s animation is officially done!
It’s been almost a couple of weeks now, but I just wanted to give a big shout-out to the entire animation crew on the Lorax. It’s been a wild ride over the last year-and-a-half, but we prevailed! I have to say I am immensely proud to have been able to help the animators do their best on the project. And I wish good luck to everyone at Illumination-MacGuff on their next project (hint: It starts with a “D” and ends with a “espicable Me 2”)…! 😀
Anyway, without further ado here’s a teaser-trailer for next year’s “The Lorax”:
Great trailer! 😀 Did you oversee the entire movie or did you have specific scenes?
@e-freak: Glad you like it (I think there will be a new trailer up at some point before the movie’s release). And I’m the animation director on the movie…
This looks really good. Funny stuff 2:04-2:05. Any updates on your personal short the one with the robot and the boy? Did you ever rig or animate the FishBoy, that model had a lot of appeal?
@Rey: Yes, I am working now on my short with the kid and the robot (which was difficult when working full-time on feature movies). And Fishboy is being transferred as we speak from Zbrush to Mudbox…
