Hiya, I just backed this. Looking really great. I can definately see some Gothic/Risen in it 😀
But I think you’d really get MUCH MUCH MUCH larger funding if you did this on kickstarter.
any chance for the game to be ported on other platforms (home console, handheld console or tablet)?
Just wanted to say I love whats been shown so far of the game but your going to have a real hard time getting funding through Indiegogo. Pretty much everyone who is willing to put money down for games like this is on you guessed it Kickstarter & they wont sign up to another crowd sourcing system.
There are workarounds I’m told for getting on Kickstarter USA/UK which is something you should really look into, projects that have show far less than yours have gotten funded through Kickstarter though it is very heavily skewed through PR which you’ve done a good job on but Indiegogo is holding you back from transitioning that into pledges.
If you succeed in getting it onto Kickstarter, push the fact that it’s similar to Dark Souls (even if not entirely accurate) to get attention, when they know what the game is going to be like they are far more likely to pledge.
Good luck.
I really enjoyed the Gamasutra interview. Hopefully you’re planning on doing more, it was a great read, and it’ll be good for a second wave of headlines.
